One product, one company, one public rule set
A Hoop is your machine and the AI that lives there and accompanies you over time. It is a product, but it belongs to you. Models, machines, and providers may change while your identity, data, memory, and choices continue.
HoopGram is the company that makes and services Hoops. It helps with purchase, delivery, support, and connection, but does not handle Hoop data or become the identity root.
Hoop Protocol is the public rule set for identity, capability, permission, migration, recovery, and exit. It makes leaving any company an implementable, verifiable choice.

Any implementation passing the applicable hoop-conformance groups may call itself a Hoop and sell Hoops without HoopGram permission. A claim must publish the passed groups, tool version, and complete result. HoopGram retains only the company trademark “HoopGram.”
What can be inspected now
The repository contains a bilingual 0.1 draft, open schemas, synthetic vectors, fixture conformance, and a safety-limited Company Death Test design. Passing fixtures is not production certification; real interoperability still requires an independent implementation.
